Fruth Pharmacy to support the March of Dimes

CHARLESTON, W. Va. Regional retail pharmacy chain Fruth Pharmacy announced that it will support the March of Dimes by participating in a fundraising effort.

Fruth Pharmacy, based in Charleston, W.Va., announced its participation in the 2009 March for Babies season. The chain said it raised $1,000 by selling candy bars, advertising its efforts in its stores and advertising that candy bars are still available in some places.

“Fruth Pharmacy has always been a huge supporter of the March of Dimes,” March of Dimes community director Terry Eller stated. “Their commitment never fails us. As always, their tremendous team effort and support are greatly appreciated.”
