Ga. Pharmacy Association signs Walgreens as charter GPhA Corporate Partner

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. - The Georgia Pharmacy Association on Tuesday welcomed Walgreens as a charter GPhA Corporate Partner.

 

With the 2016 legislative session underway, the Walgreens Corporate Partnership comes at an opportune time.

 

The Georgia Pharmacy Association is one of the only entities in Georgia that speaks for the entire scope of pharmacy practice, GPhA noted, and is seen by legislators and regulators as the voice for pharmacy.

 

“We have high credibility with legislators and are the one group they’ll always want to hear from before taking a vote on pharmacy-related regulation," stated Scott Brunner, association CEO. "With Walgreens as a corporate partner, our voice is louder and more effective. It’s definitely a win for both organizations — and all of Georgia pharmacy.” Brunner says.
