NEW YORK — Fortune recently released its list of the 100 best workplaces for millennials, which takes into account some 88,000 millennials surveyed across more than 600 companies that have been certified as a Great Place to Work. And among the companies identified were Publix (No. 74), Wegman’s (No. 40) and Whole Foods (No. 90).
“As company founder George Jenkins often said, when you take care of associates, they’ll take care of their customers,” Publix CEO and president Todd Jones said. “Our associates appreciate our culture of caring, and it makes them feel valued as individuals.”
At
Drug Store News and Mack Elevation’s Future Leaders Summit, the Emerson Group’s VP marketing Matt Poli
moderated a panel featuring up-and-coming young business leaders about what millennials look for in potential employers and what leadership looks like to the new generation of leaders.
“There are many perceptions,” Poli said. “Our objective is to look through the lens of millennials.”
