Hood expands eggnog lineup with new caramel flavor

LYNNFIELD, Mass. — Hood is set to launch a limited-edition eggnog flavor in time for the holiday season.

New Hood caramel eggnog joins the lineup of eggnog flavors that includes golden, light, vanilla, cinnamon, pumpkin and sugar cookie. The company said that "consumers will be drawn to the familiarity and comfort that the flavor provides," making the new eggnog "an excellent addition to holiday gatherings." Hood products are sold at retailers nationwide.

"Caramel has long been a popular flavor in foods and beverages, and we are thrilled to introduce it into our eggnog line," said Lynne Bohan, spokeswoman for HP Hood LLC. "Hood golden eggnog has been a family favorite for generations, and caramel seemed like the perfect flavor to continue the tradition."
