Hy-Vee named official grocery partner of the K.C. Chiefs

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa A supermarket and retail pharmacy chain has become the official grocery partner of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Hy-Vee announced last week that it joined the Chiefs’ organization as its official grocery partner. The chain will be branded as an exclusive sponsor of the Chiefs at their home, Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., and at Missouri and Kansas stores.

“Hy-Vee is thrilled to begin what we hope will be a long and successful relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs,” Hy-Vee SVP market Jon Wendel said in a statement, noting that the chain has been a sponsor of baseball team the Kansas City Royals since 2001. “Our company has been warmly welcomed in this region for many years, and we look forward to all the opportunities this relationship gives us to promote Chiefs excitement throughout our communities.”
