CHICAGO and SAN FRANCISCO — IRI and workforce management company Gigwalk announce Tuesday that they would partnering on new insights for consumer packaged good companies.
Combining IRI’s Liquid Data platform and Gigwalk’s Mobile Crowdsourcing insights and its Enterprise workforce management solution, the two will offer ways for CPG companies to see real-time data on how their initiatives work in stores in real-time, the companies said.
“Our alliance with IRI is critical to the industry — our combined data capabilities give customers a more accurate, immediate and broader understanding of the impact their retail marketing spend is having on their overall business,” said David Hale, CEO of Gigwalk. “Consumer brands can now make educated business decisions based on what’s happening in the store in real-time, recouping potentially lost revenue.”
Customers of the new joint venture will have access to an on-demand workforce that can collect data and intelligence on a job or task. They will also have enhanced audit services — some of which can be conducted within 48 hours — integration of Gigwalk data into IRI’s platform and marketing and consumer intelligence.
