Jelly Belly gets 'Sunkist' with new treats

FAIRFIELD, Calif. — Jelly Belly has unveiled a new line created under license from Sunkist Growers.

The lineup of Sunkist dark chocolate orange sticks and new Sunkist dark chocolate raspberry sticks, which are made with real fruit purees and juices to provide the intense flavor without artificial colors; Sunkist Fruit Gems, available in pink grapefruit, raspberry, orange, lemon and blueberry flavors; and Sunkist orange slices. The jell candies also tout contemporary packaging.

"We expect the new, natural approach to the Sunkist line to energize the collection and expand its consumer appeal," Jelly Belly VP marketing Rob Swaigen said. "The use of natural ingredients makes it appealing to a larger audience."

Dark chocolate orange and raspberry sticks are available in a 2.55-oz. small bag and a 2-lb. pouch bag. Sunkist Fruit Gems are available in a 1.65-oz. 5-piece bar, 3.1-oz. bag, 6.6-oz. bag and a 14-oz. gift box. Orange slices are available in a 3.1-oz. bag and a 6.6-oz. bag.
