J&J plugs into new/expecting mom consumer base with latest 7 Minute Wellness app
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. - Johnson & Johnson Health and Wellness Solutions on Wednesday announced the launch of the Johnson & Johnson 7 Minute Wellness for Expecting and New Moms app, available on the App Store and the Google Play store.
"This latest 7 Minute Wellness app reflects our ongoing commitment to develop innovative and personalized solutions that make it easier for people around the world to stay healthy and live vibrant and longer lives," stated Len Greer, president, Johnson & Johnson Health and Wellness Solutions. "We want to help moms maximize their energy so they can feel and be their best – for themselves and for those who matter most to them."
The new app was created by the same experts who developed the fast, simple and scientifically proven Johnson & Johnson Official 7 Minute Workout app. The 7 Minute Wellness for Expecting and New Moms app draws on more than 30 years of experience and research from the pioneers of human energy management and expansion at the Johnson & Johnson Human Performance Institute.
The app was developed using the fundamentals of Energy for Performance training plus insights from a Johnson & Johnson study conducted with approximately 1,400 pre- and post-natal women.
The app offers personalized sessions to help new and expecting moms expand and manage their energy. These include 7 Minute Workout sessions that are customized to the mom's week of pregnancy or postnatal phase, individual fitness and energy levels or any physical discomfort she may be experiencing.
The workout sessions were designed by Chris Jordan, director exercise physiology at the Johnson & Johnson Human Performance Institute.
Mind and Body sessions in the app offer techniques to help create balance, relax the mind, relieve stress and discomfort and care for a woman's body during this important time. They are guided by Jennifer Lea, Johnson & Johnson Human Performance Institute director client training.
No special equipment is needed; sessions are designed to be simple and help women achieve and maintain fitness and balance – in body and mind.
