Kinney Drugs deploying Kodak Photofinishing Solutions chainwide
GOUVERNEUR, N.Y. A regional retail pharmacy chain operating stores in upstate New York and Vermont announced Wednesday that it would deploy new picture kiosks and thermal dry lab systems.
Kinney Drugs said it would place Kodak Picture Kiosks and Adaptive Picture Exchange systems in all of its stores as part of an agreement with the Eastman Kodak Co. Kinney said the agreement allows the chain to operate in-store photofinishing services more cheaply and sustainably.
“Kodak technology provides us with the most innovative solution to offer customers the highest quality photofinishing products and services on the market,” Kinney Drugs VP retail merchandising Richard Cognetti said in a statement. “Replacing our existing fleet of wet lab printing systems with faster, more cost-effective Kodak APEX systems and instant kiosks will improve photo center operations and is better for the environment.”
