Kinney Drugs opens store in Waterbury, Vt.

WATERBURY, Vt. Kinney Drugs plans to give its newest store a big opening, the regional retail pharmacy chain announced Monday.

Kinney will stage an opening of its Waterbury, Vt., store on March 27, formerly a Vincent Drugs store. The opening ceremony will feature free blood pressure screenings and giveaways such as ice cream and bottled water and a contest to win a Conair gift basket, a big-screen TV and a $100 gift card.

The store will offer free prescription delivery, EZ Refill phone-in or online refill services and free vials containing personal medication information for use in an emergency. Front-of-store products will include consumables, OTC and beauty products, greeting cards and photo processing.
