NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Little Clinic, which is a subsidiary of Kroger, opened two new locations this month inside Kroger stores in Hebron in northern Kentucky and Bardstown in the Louisville area.
The Bardstown location joins 16 other locations already open in the region, all staffed by board certified nurse practitioners. A public grand opening event was held Jan. 7.
"The Little Clinic first opened in Louisville in 2003, so we are very excited to see growth continue in this foundational market for our company,” stated Ken Patric, chief medical officer for The Little Clinic. “Patient utilization is high in Louisville and really all of our Kentuckiana clinics because of the convenience factor we bring to the healthcare industry. No matter where you are in Louisville, one of our 17 clinics is usually close to where you live, work, shop or go to school.”
A grand opening event for the Hebron location was held on Jan. 8.
Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Nashville, Tenn., The Little Clinic healthcare clinics are currently located inside select Kroger stores in Indiana, Mississippi, Virginia, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee and Ohio; King Soopers in Colorado, Fry’s Food Stores in Arizona and JayC stores in Indiana.
