MINNEAPOLIS — Target on Tuesday announced the launch of three new skincare and beauty lines that will be exclusively sold in its stores and on its website — You Are Amazing, Mayfair Soap Foundry and Marlowe. Marlowe, a skincare brand with a socially conscious twist, celebrated the launch with a Manhattan party at Omar’s La Ranita in Greenwich Village.
Almost all of Marlowe’s products — which include body moisturizers, body butter, and an 11-product line for men that includes facial cleansers, body soap scrub and shave gel — contain its M blend formulation: a combination of passionflower fruit, green tea, willow bark and deep sea algae extracts.
The product line (whose prices range from $3.99 to $12.99) also features Marlowe No. 002 Extra Moisturizing Body Lotion and No. 003 Sensitive Skin Body Lotion, as well as a body soufflé, body butter and hand cream. Marlowe has also partnered with Clean the World, which collects and recycles discarded soap and hygiene products by the hospitality industry and distributes them in impoverished areas, donating soap for every product it sells.
Alongside Marlowe, Mayfair Soap Foundry has also launched, featuring a new spin on British bath brands, the line includes bath salts, bubble baths and sugar scrubs in sea lilly jasmine and grapefruit bergamot scents. The products range in price from $2.99 to $8.99, and the company is donating a portion of proceeds from items purchased to Starlight Children’s Foundation.
You Are Amazing, a bath and body brand with such scents as mango papaya and lemon meringue, also joins the list of Target’s offering. The brand’s products range in price from $1.99 to $9.99 and the packaging features empowering messages. You Are Amazing donates to Girl Up for each item purchased, supporting the United Nations Foundation’s adolescent girl empowerment campaign.
