Mauro has been with mylan for more than 20 years, where he has led the company’s North American business for the past four years. He has also served as president of Mylan Pharmaceuticals, COO of Mylan Pharmaceuticals in Canada, VP North American sales and VP North American strategic development. He is also a former chairman and vice-chairman of the Generic Pharmaceutical Association’s board of directors.

"I have had the privilege of being part of Mylan for more than 20 years and contributing to the company's evolution from a leading generics pharmaceutical company in the U.S. to a leading global pharmaceutical company,” Mauro said. “Mylan's future has never been brighter, and I am proud to have been recognized and ready to step up to be a part of Mylan's senior organizational leadership team as we continue our exciting growth trajectory, while delivering on our mission to set new standards in healthcare.”
