PakSense introduces XpressPDF temperature monitoring label

10/19/2011

BOISE, Idaho — PakSense has launched a new label that monitors time and temperature of such perishable items as food, vaccines, pharmaceuticals and biologics during distribution and storage.

The company said its XpressPDF temperature monitoring label feature an integrated USB connection point, which can be plugged directly into a computer's USB port. Once connected, the label automatically generates a PDF data file containing complete time and temperature history, including a graph and summary statistics, in an easy-to-interpret format. Additionally, XpressPDF labels can be uploaded to virtually any third party logistics database via the PakSense Device Interface SDK and are recyclable via the PakSense GreenSense program, the company noted.

“XpressPDF is the easiest to use, most versatile temperature monitoring device on the market today,” PakSense CEO David Light said. “Low infrastructure and ease-of-use for the customer were paramount when we designed this product. Cold chain simplicity is what we have created.”
