P&G debuts new formula for HE appliances

CINCINNATI — Procter and Gamble’s Fabric Care division is incorporating an HE Turbo Clean formula to help consumers get the best results from high-efficiency washing machines. The formula is now available in Tide liquid detergent, Tide Pods pacs and Tide powder formula, the company said.

When consumers purchase HE appliances with the goal of saving resources, they often use the wrong detergent or an incorrect amount. This proves counterproductive, as it can add significant time to the wash cycle and also can impact cleaning results, according to P&G.  

The products are available nationwide with suggested retail prices that range from $7.99 to $15.99.
