Popular Jelly Belly flavor celebrates milestone with a makeover

FAIRFIELD, Calif. — Jelly Belly Candy Co. is celebrating a milestone with a product overhaul that will both draw in consumers and drive impulse sales, the company said.



Jelly Belly's Buttered Popcorn jelly beans have clocked 25 years as a consumer staple. The buttery bean is the second most popular flavor in the company's lineup. Very Cherry nabbed the top spot. In celebration of the anniversary, the company will offer the flavor in a 3.5-oz. Grab & Go bag — complete with a branded popcorn container on the packaging — and will ship in 12-count display caddies to retailers.
