PROVIDENCE, R.I. — PreMama last week announced the launch of a Target-exclusive: PreMama Complete, a prenatal vitamin formulated for women who are pregnant, breast feeding or trying to conceive.
The formula, designed by doctors and product specialists at Target, is a multivitamin powder containing nutrients doctors recommend for fetal and infant health and development. The orange-flavored powder is taken once a day and mixes directly into water. Each single dose of PreMama Complete contains 30-mg of Vitamin B6 to soothe occasional bouts of morning sickness; Ferrochel Gentle Iron to minimize iron-induced constipation; 1,000-mcg of folic acid to reduce the risk of neural tube defects; vitamin B12 to help control fatigue; 65-mg of vegetarian DHA and 200-mg of omega 3 fats.
According to the company, PreMama Complete is 100% vegetarian, non-GMO, and free of common allergens including gluten, eggs, fish, nuts, shellfish, sulfites and tree nuts. The multivitamin powder will be available in a 28-serving box, starting at $30 each box.
