MIAMI Former Rite Aid CEO and chairman Martin Grass is scheduled to be released from a community corrections center in Miami on Jan. 18, according to a report filed Wednesday by the Patriot-News, Rite Aid’s hometown daily newspaper.

Grass is one of six former senior executives charged with overstating Rite Aid earnings in the period before the company’s current management team assumed control of the company in 1999 and embarked on successfully turning the company around.
