Report: Walmart names former Disney executive CCO

Walmart hired former Disney public affairs executive Brian Besanceney to serve as SVP and chief communications officer beginning April 1, The Holmes Report reported Monday. "Besanceney joins Walmart from The Walt Disney Company, where he served for five years as SVP Walt Disney world public affairs and worldwide government and industry relations, leading media relations, internal communications and community relations for Walt Disney World Resort, as well as all government and industry relations for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts worldwide," the report noted. "Prior to Disney, he served as deputy chief of staff to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice at the U.S. Department of State." (The Holmes Report)
