1/19/2016

BOSTON - Health Dialog, a leading provider of total population health management solutions for health plans, risk-bearing providers and self-insured employers, announced Tuesday that Scott Maratea, a veteran of healthcare sales and business development, has joined Health Dialog as SVP sales, responsible for leading the company's continued growth in the total population health management space.

"Scott's deep understanding of the evolving healthcare market, success in building and sustaining client relationships and extensive sales management experience will be a tremendous asset to Health Dialog as we position the company for growth by improving the health of our clients' members, patients and employees and reducing their healthcare costs," stated Web Golinkin, CEO Health Dialog.

Maratea has 23 years of experience establishing and growing client relationships with the nation's leading health plans and provider organizations. Most recently, Maratea served as VP payer sales for Orion Health where he helped guide a team of regional sales directors in growing the company's population health solution suite for payers. In addition, he has also held executive positions at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Tufts Health Plan and United Healthcare as well as at Verisk Health and TriZetto.

During his career, Maratea has generated more than $315 million in new business revenue and received many awards for sales productivity.

"I'm excited to join Health Dialog during this time of transformative growth," said Maratea. "I look forward to working with the team to bring Health Dialog's proprietary analytics, multi-channel coaching platform and shared decision-making tools to a broad range of payers, providers and employers and reinforcing Health Dialog's position as a leading provider of total population health management solutions."

As a wholly owned subsidiary of Rite Aid, Health Dialog works with the nation's largest third-party payers, employers and providers — as well as with its parent company Rite Aid — to improve the health and wellness of their members, employees, patients and customers while reducing costs and improving performance in key quality measures, such as NCQA's HEDIS and CMS' Stars ratings.
