Roche joins diabetes platform to Walgreens' Balance Rewards API ecosystem

CHICAGO - Walgreens on Tuesday announced that Roche has added their myriad of devices into the company's Balance Rewards API ecosystem. 

 

With Roche’s Accu-Chek Connect application customers can connect compatible devices with their Walgreens Balance Rewards account and start earning points.

 

"We are excited to announce the integration of Accu-Chek Connect System with the Walgreens Balance Rewards API," stated Kimberly Ward, group marketing mnager, regional portfolio development, Roche Diabetes Care. "People with diabetes want to stay on top of their disease. The Accu-Chek Connect meter and app help them understand how choices they make day to day can impact their test results. By linking this innovative solution with the Walgreens interface, Accu-Chek Connect users can actually be rewarded for something they do every day through their usual testing routine."
