Sam's Club 'hearts' its customers with free health screenings
BENTONVILLE, Ark. —- Sam's Club will be showing its love to its customers this Valentine's Day with the offering of a free heart health screening. The health screenings are confidential and available at all Sam’s Club locations with a pharmacy (602 locations) on Feb. 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“We spend so much time trying to come up with the perfect Valentine’s Day gift for our loved ones, but we often overlook the most important gift of all, the gift of good health,” stated Jill Turner-Mitchael, SVP Sam’s Club Health and Wellness. “Sam’s Club is committed to improving health and wellness in the communities we serve and we hope this month’s free heart health screening will be a simple but meaningful way people can show they care.”
The screenings are valued at $150 and include tests for:
Blood pressure;
Total cholesterol;
HDL (good cholesterol);
Risk ratio;
Glucose;
Body mass index; and
Vision (not available at all locations).
