Save-A-Lot opens two new stores

ST. LOUIS A discount grocery chain opened two new stores in Louisiana and Maryland.

Save-A-Lot opened its 20th store in Louisiana in the town of Opelousas, in addition to its 21st store in Maryland in Essex.

In honor of the store openings, Save-A-Lot is making a $2,500 gift card donation to a food bank in each city: Central Food Bank of St. Landry Parish in Opelousas and Eastern Interfaith Outreach Food Pantry in Essex, to help with their mission to reduce hunger in their respective communities.
