Schnucks Markets rolls out SoloHealth EyeSite kiosks
ST. LOUIS Supermarket chain Schnucks Markets has partnered with an Atlanta-based company to provide self-service vision-screening kiosks in its stores.
Under the agreement, 30 stores in the St. Louis area will carry SoloHealth EyeSite kiosks. While the kiosks can’t replace an eye doctor appointment, they are designed to assess users’ near and distance vision and also ask users lifestyle questions.
“Too often, people don’t realize that their vision may deteriorate so slowly that it may be imperceptible,” SoloHealth CEO Bart Foster said in a statement. “They may think they have 20/20 vision, but in reality, eye disease may be forming.”
