Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix to open 10 new stores
TORONTO Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix on Friday announced the opening of 10 new drug stores this weekend, five of which are relocations.
“Our capital investment and store development program is off to a great start this year,” stated Shoppers president and chief executive officer Jurgen Schreiber. “Top-line growth, underpinned by retail development, remains a significant opportunity for our business and accordingly, continues to be one of our top priorities for 2008.”
The new stores are located in the following municipalities:
- Squamish, British Columbia
- Winkler, Manitoba
- Timmins, Ontario
- Huntsville, Ontario (with Beauty Boutique)
- Gravenhurst, Ontario
- Port Elgin, Ontario
- St. Catharines, Ontario
- Oshawa, Ontario
- St-Jerome, Quebec (with Beauty Boutique)
- Loretteville, Quebec (with Beauty Boutique)
