Shoppers Drug Mart fills EVP pharmacy and health care spot

TORONTO - Shoppers Drug Mart recently appointed Jeff Leger EVP pharmacy and health care for both Loblaw and Shoppers Drug Mart Stores from his position as SVP Loblaw Pharmacy and pharmaceutical partnerships. 

 

In his job with Loblaws, Leger was responsible for 500 in-store pharmacies, where he directed pharmacy strategy and operations as well as brand and generic buying. 

 

Leger first joined Shoppers Drug Mart in 2008. Prior to SDM, Leger was manager, marking and professional services for Apotex. 

 

He graduated from Dalhousie University with a degree in pharmacy in 1995 and earned an MBA from University of Moncton in 2006.
