Scottsdale, Ariz. — Shoppers keep getting smarter about using their mobile devices.
According to a new study from OneStop Marketing, 83% of mobile users now engage in shopping activities on their phone immediately before, during or after a trip to the store.
In addition, 45% of online traffic during the 2014 holiday season came from mobile but only 20% of sales came from mobile devices, indicating a substantial opportunity to increase mobile conversion rates.
Looking at holiday trends further, OneStop found that 66% of consumers plan to buy half their holiday gifts online and 80% of consumers will start shopping for gifts before the start of the holiday season. Fifty percent of shoppers are likely to purchase from a new retailer during the holiday.

78% of consumers are more likely to buy products if a retailer makes targeted and personalized offers.
Seventy percent of consumers expect some level of personalization.
