Vensun adds new SVP regulatory affairs, compliance

YARDLEY, Pa. —  Generics manufacturer Vensun Pharmaceuticals announced Friday that it had named a new SVP regulatory affairs and compliance. Joan Janulis, most recently VP and head of regulatory practice at Lachman consulting, will oversee the company’s quality and compliance functions, as well as regulatory affairs. 

 

Before she joined Lachman — where she has also ben a member of its board of directors for three years — Janulis wokrd in various executive capacities at Faulding/Purepac Pharmaceutical (currently Actavis) and Ivax Pharmaceuticals (now Teva), as well as Able Laboratories. 

 

“I am pleased to be reunited with Joan having had the privilege of working with her over the past several years,” Vensun president and CEO Hem Pandya said. “Her wealth of experience and successful track record will be of tremendous value to Vensun as we approach the FDA Target Action Dates (TADs) for our 20 accepted ANDAs.”
