VTech introduces new line of baby monitors
BEAVERTON, Ore. — VTech is helping parents maximize their monitoring options with a new line of baby monitors.
VTech said its Safe and Sound monitors feature digital communication technology, which improves range, sound quality and reduces interference from other home devices, so that parents can easily hear sounds and see the images from the baby monitor. The Safe and Sound full-color video and audio monitor provides a full audio/visual monitoring solution that has up to 1,000 ft. of range between the camera and parent unit and includes a high-quality video resolution (transmitting up to 22 frames per second) on a 2.8-in. video screen with a 320 x 240 pixel display. The Safe and Sound line also includes the digital audio monitor, which also offers up to 1,000 ft. of range and features Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications 6.0 technology, which prevents wireless interference from other electronic devices and security from digital snooping, VTech said.
