DEERFIELD, Ill. - Nevada pharmacies are doubling down on cough, cold and flu products this week, as the state is both the top state with flu activity and the leading state in terms of flu activity gains according to the latest Walgreens Flu Index released Thursday. Nearby, Arizona ranks No. 2 in flu incidence among states and No. 3 in flu incidence gains.
In addition to these states, California, Texas, Oklahoma and Florida are all experiencing gains in flu incidence, according to the Index.
The top 10 markets with flu activity for the week of Jan. 24 were:

Miami – Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.;
El Paso, Texas (Las Cruces, N.M.);
Las Vegas;
Tallahassee, Fla. – Thomasville, Ga.;
Tucson (Sierra Vista), Ariz.;
Phoenix (Prescott), Ariz.;
Oklahoma City;
Los Angeles; and
Lafayette, La.
