Water Pik's new Complete Care combines water flosser, sonic toothbrush
FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Water Pik, a maker of personal care products that are sold in such channels as drug stores, mass merchandisers and specialty retailers, has announced the introduction of the new Waterpik Complete Care, which provides consumers with all of their brushing and flossing needs in one product.
The Waterpik Complete Care bundles the technology of the Waterpik Water Flosser with the Sensonic Professional Plus Toothbrush.
In a recent clinical study, the new Complete Care was up to 70% more effective than Sonicare FlexCare and up to 159% more effective than a manual toothbrush alone for improving gum health, the company stated.
“The new clinical research clearly proves that brushing is not enough, even if you’re using a high-end sonic toothbrush,” stated Richard Bisson, president and CEO of Water Pik. ”Our hope is that by making it easy and convenient, we can get more people to floss and improve their overall oral health.”
The WaterpikComplete Care requires one electrical outlet and is ideal for anyone who would like to reduce clutter in their bathrooms. The Water Flosser features five tips, a covered reservoir, a hygienic tip storage compartment and a pressure control system with 10 settings.
The Sensonic Toothbrush provides sonic technology and 25% faster bristle tip speed than Sonicare FlexCare. It includes two brush heads, a two-minute brushing timer, a 30-second quadrant pacer and a travel case.
