NowRx Pharmacy named finalist for ‘Highest Accuracy’ in Surescripts White Coat Awards

NowRx, a technology-enabled pharmacy that uses proprietary pharmacy software and advanced logistics technology to provide same-day and same-hour delivery of prescription medications, has been named as one of two finalists in the “Highest Accuracy” category of the Surescripts White Coat Awards.

This award recognizes the best electronic prescription accuracy as of Aug. 1 based on the Surescripts Quality Index Score, which is a measure of overall prescription accuracy based on data provided by Surescripts Sentinel, an automated system that monitors the volume and accuracy of electronic prescriptions. The winner will be announced at the 2020 Surescripts Network Alliance Forum to be held Oct. 6-8.

NowRx leverages high-tech micro-fulfillment centers and advanced, proprietary technology to provide free same-day delivery of prescriptions.

The company noted that its innovative approach was developed from the ground up to improve both accuracy and speed when it comes to prescription fulfillment and delivery.
