A&D Medical ties together devices and more with new WellnessConnected app

SAN JOSE, Calif. — A&D Medical last week launched its WellnessConnected app for Android.

 

Designed as a comprehensive health and wellness platform to provide insight into health while connecting consumers to their healthcare providers and loved ones, WellnessConnected is comprised of A&D Medical’s BLE health monitoring devices, cloud-based personal account and the A&D Connect app.

 

“A&D Connect was designed to provide consumers with a core tool to better manage their health,” said Terry Duesterhoeft, president and CEO of A&D Medical. 

 

Optimized to enhance the end-user experience, the app serves as the tabulation point of consumer health or biometric data — such as activity tracking, blood pressure, weight, blood oxygen levels and blood glucose.

 

In addition to A&D’s UA-651BLE blood pressure monitor and UC-352BLE weight scale, WellnessConnected can also integrate information from LifeTrak activity trackers, self-reported blood glucose entry, and blood oxygen levels from supported devices to enhance the breadth of the platform.

 

The A&D Connect app features graphing, unlimited memory, reminders and goal setting. There is also a social component, allowing users to share what they choose through messaging, email and social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.
