CHPA adds 2 board members
The Consumer Healthcare Products Association's board of directors has new members. CHPA added two OTC-industry executives at its fall meeting in New York City on Nov. 14.
The Washington, D.C.-based organization added Paul Gama, Procter & Gamble vice president of North America personal care, and Patrick Lockwood-Taylor, Bayer Consumer Healthcare president of consumer health North America, to the board. The board will continue to be led by Gary Downing, Clarion Brands CEO, in his role as chairman.
“It’s an exciting time for our industry,” said Scott Melville, CHPA president and CEO. “CHPA is delighted to have industry leaders like Paul and Patrick at the table as CHPA works to help consumers achieve happier, healthier lives through responsible self-care. Their deep knowledge of our industry will be invaluable to our work.”
Lockwood-Taylor previously served as CHPA board chairman from 2014 to 2016. Both he and Gama also were elected to the board’s executive committee.
