Clif Bar announces launch of mini Luna bars

BERKELEY, Calif. Clif Bar announced Monday it would extend its launch of miniature energy bars across its Luna brand. At a little less than half the size of a traditional Luna bar, they are designed to offer an alternative for the woman who doesn’t want an entire bar, but still wants to satisfy their snack cravings.

“Luna Minis are an ideal entirely natural and organic option for women that are looking for a treat that is packed with nutrient-dense calories and great taste, rather than empty calories with artificial ingredients,” stated Tara DelloIacono-Thies, registered dietician, Luna. 

The Mini bar concept originally came from Clif Bar consumer feedback, the company reported in March, when it launched the Clif Bar Minis.
