Cliff Bar launches Mini Energy bars

BERKELEY, Calif. Clif Bar announced Wednesday the launch of its Clif Bar Mini Energy Bars, bars close to half the size of standard Clif Bars.

“Clif Bar Mini Energy Bars offer the great taste and nutrition that people have come to love and expect from Clif Bars, but in a portion size that delivers just the right amount of sustained energy for smaller tasks and adventures,” stated Carly Lutz, brand manager for Clif Bar.

The Mini bar concept came directly from Clif Bar consumer feedback, the company stated, specifically from people looking for a healthy, all-natural snack to energize their everyday activities.

Available in three flavors—chocolate chip, chocolate brownie and crunchy peanut butter—Clif Bar Mini Energy Bars are sold in 18-count, three flavor variety packs and will be available at select retailers in April for a suggested retail price ranging between $11.99 and $14.99.
