WASHINGTON — The council for Responsible Nutrition has 13 new member companies, including nine associate members and four new voting members: Lief Labs, MusclePharm, China-based Er-Kang Pharmaceuticals and Paragon Laboratories.
Er-Kang is one of China’s largest manufactures of excipients and APIs for capsules, soft gels, oral liquids, pills and injections, and StarchCap and StarchGel materials for making hard shell capsules and soft gels. MusclePharm develops, makes and sells its own brand of nutritional supplements. Lief Labs is a dietary supplement manufacturer that runs on solar power and creates high-quality powders, tablets and capsules — a line of products that Paragon Labs also produces. Paragon’s facilities include production, warehousing and packaging spaces.
“We are pleased to welcome these 13 new companies to CRN, and are looking forward to working on their behalf,” CRN President and CEO Steve Mister said. “As our membership continues to grow, our association continues to grow stronger, positioning us to better protect and promote our industry.”
