CRN adds three voting members, two associates

WASHINGTON The Council for Responsible Nutrition added five members to its membership roster for the new year, including voting members GlaxoSmithKline, LycoRed and Novartis Consumer Health and associate members New Hope Natural Media, which hosts the bi-coastal Natural Products Expos, and Quality Systems Design.

“It is always gratifying for our association to attract responsible companies that are dedicated to providing consumers with safe, high quality and beneficial dietary supplements.” stated Steve Mister, president and chief executive officer, CRN. “We have an ambitious agenda at CRN to enhance the climate for dietary supplement manufacturers and suppliers in a number of specific and measureable ways. We think the more industry members know about CRN, the more they will want to participate in that agenda.”
