Drive intros bath transfer bench with curtain guard protection
Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare is expanding its line of bath safety products. The Port Washington, N.Y.-based company has introduced the Splash Defense Transfer Bench with Curtain Guard Protection.
The product features a patented U-shaped cutout that keeps the shower curtain liner inside the bathtub, keeping water off the floor to help prevent falls. The bench supports up to 400 lbs. and is reversible to accommodate any bathroom, Drive said. It also has dual-column extension legs that can be height-adjusted in ½-in. increments.
