EZC Pak's immunity support pack gains distribution through Cardinal Health

LOS ANGELES — EZC Pak earlier this week announced distribution of its immune support pack that targets the overuse of antibiotics in colds and flu through Cardinal Health. The agreement supports EZC Pak's expansion into pharmacies and health systems, the company stated.



EZC Pak is an OTC immune support supplement formulated with certified organic ingredients including echinacea, zinc and vitamin C.



There currently are roughly 2 million drug-resistant infections in the United States, and one of the contributing factors to their growth has been overuse of antibiotics. As many as 94% of doctors are concerned about the overuse of antibiotics, explained Sarath Malepati, EZC Pak creator, in a recent interview with Drug Store News.



"I have used Cardinal products throughout my professional career and they have contributed to many lives saved," Malepati said. "We look forward to working with the Cardinal Health team and their consumer health customers in continuing to reduce antibiotic overuse with EZC Pak this cold and flu season."



Earlier this year, EZC Pak was the recipient of the 2017 Drug Store News/ECRM Buyer's Choice Award at the ECRM National Cough, Cold & Allergy Conference.
