Garden of Life obtains NSF International certification
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Garden of Life announced Tuesday that it has obtained NSF International certification of the contents and label claims for mykind Organics, a multivitamin sold primarily through the specialty channel, including Vitamin Shoppe and Whole Foods.

Garden of Life introduced mykind Organics multivitamins in 2014 as a complete line, including vitamins for women and men, prenatal multivitamins and multivitamins specifically formulated for men and women over 40 years old. Working in a unique collaboration with actress, New York Times best-selling author and well-known vegan health expert, Alicia Silverstone, Garden of Life brought a formula to market where every offering is Certified Organic, Verified Non-GMO by the Non-GMO Project, Certified Gluten Free, Vegan and Kosher.
NSF International's dietary supplement testing and certification program has three key components: Good Manufacturing Practices registration, NSF International dietary supplement certification and NSF Certified for Sport certification. Manufacturing facilities must pass twice-annual audits to earn entry-level GMP registration before they can move on to earn NSF International's dietary supplement product/ingredient certification. The dietary supplement certification process includes label claim, toxicology and contaminant reviews, with ongoing monitoring to verify compliance through periodic auditing and testing.
