Goody’s latest contest features ‘Dale Jr.’ fan experience

 

 

MARTINSVILLE, Va. - Prestige Brands and spokesperson Dale Earnhardt Jr. on Sunday launched "Ride with Dale Jr.," a new contest that offers fans the chance to win a special ride along with Earnhardt Jr. in the Goody's No. 88 car along with VIP tickets to watch him drive the Goody's car in 2016.  

 

The contest was announced at the Goody's Headache Relief Shot 500 at Martinsville Speedway.

 

"Working with Goody's the past few years has been an enjoyable experience for me and everyone at JR Motorsports," Earnhardt Jr. said. "They're a longstanding supporter of our sport, and they continue to be innovators in creating new fast pain relief products and thinking up creative ways to reach our fans. I'm excited about 'Ride with Dale Jr.' we're launching where a fan is going to get to experience what it's like to get in a race car with me."

"Ride with Dale Jr." was announced in a new video that captured the experience of four fans receiving a surprise of a lifetime—a ride around the racetrack with Earnhardt, Jr. In addition to the grand prize winner, five runners-ups will receive signed Dale Earnhardt Jr. memorabilia and all entrants will receive a $1 off Goody's coupon.  

 

In addition to launching the "Ride with Dale Jr." fan contest, Goody's introduced the new Mixed Fruit Blast Headache Powder and Back & Body Relief Single Dose at the Goody's Fast Relief Zone at the Martinsville Speedway. The Mixed Fruit Blast Headache Powder provides pain relief of minor body aches and pains in a new mixed fruit flavor. The new Liquid Fast Relief for Back & Body Single Dose provides pain relief of minor body aches and pains.

 

Goody's Powder, part of the Prestige Brands portfolio, became the first non-automotive sponsor in NASCAR in 1977 when it signed Richard Petty as a spokesperson.
