HDI receives award for expanding its TRUEtest platform for diabetes monitoring

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. Home Diagnostics Inc. on Monday announced that the company received a 2009 Governor's Export Excellence Award.

As part of the 2009 Governor's Business Diversification Awards program, the award recognizes HDI for its international growth and increase in export sales, expansion of the company's TRUEtest platform for diabetes monitoring and overall contributions to Florida's economic diversification and job creation.

“Our team is honored to be recognized with the Governor's Export Excellence Award,” stated Joe Capper, president and CEO of HDI. “We remain committed to supporting Florida's economy while delivering high-quality diabetes testing supplies to people with diabetes across the globe.”

HDI won the award as a result of its strategic expansion into Latin America and more than 80% of the countries in Europe.

The 2009 Governor's Business Diversification Awards winners were honored at a ceremony on Sept. 15 in Tallahassee, Fla.
