COLUMBUS, Ohio – With more than 23 newly signed retailers to its credit, Life Support Development is posting record growth through the first 10 months of 2016, the company recently announced.
Those new retailers include c-store operators like 7-Eleven and Love’s Travel Stops as well as supermarket chains Kroger and Giant Eagle.
“One year ago we were a small startup in Columbus, Ohio and now customers are requesting our product in every area of the country,” stated Brad McKean, director of sales. “We’ve been recognized by retailers as a product that drives incremental sales and a market basket twice the industry average.”
Life Support in October launched its most recent line extension, a caffeinated Red Label Recovery Shot that features zero grams of sugar in a new berry flavor. “Our research has shown that a majority of customers are buying Life Support as a hangover prevention between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m.,” commented Shannon O’Shields, Life Support director marketing. Coffee and energy shots were the leading companion purchases with the original formula, O’Shields noted, so the company added an energy booster to its original recovery formula. “Life Support Red Label addresses this issue by providing 190 mg of caffeine for an added energy boost, and zero grams of sugar to prevent that afternoon crash commonly associated with energy drinks.”
