New Cirrus Healthcare earplugs help relieve migraine symptoms

6/9/2016

COLD SPRING HARBOR, N.Y. - Cirrus Healthcare Products recently launched a new migraine relief earplug clinically proven to reduce the duration, intensity and discomfort of migraine headaches called MigraineX.

Along with the new earplugs, Cirrus will be launching a great aid for migraine sufferers - the MigraineX App. With this app, migraine sufferers will be alerted to changes in barometric pressure that can trigger a migraine attack, allowing users to be prepared to use MigraineX before symptoms start.

“Using both the MigraineX App and MigraineX, sufferers will recover faster,” stated Lanny Lewis, SVP business development Cirrus Healthcare.

MigraineX provides relief for migraine and headache symptoms in 81% of sufferers when paired with regular migraine medication, according to data from a clinical study conducted by Princeton Consumer Research.

MigraineX is designed for all types of headaches caused by changes in the weather (barometric pressure), including migraine, sinus and other severe headaches. According to WebMD, changes in barometric pressure are the leading cause for weather related migraines.

The new migraine-relieving earplugs are now available at Amazon.com and will be available at select retail stores this fall.

In addition, the company is planning a social marketing campaign with the hashtag #killmigraines.
