OMG! Nutrition unveils flavored magnesium powder packs
Supplement start-up OMG! Nutrition is looking to bring consumers a new way to supplement magnesium. The New York-based company has launched its line of single-serve, flavored powder packets that it said offers high absorption of magnesium without digestive discomfort.
“Research shows a majority of people aren’t getting sufficient magnesium,” said Bonnie Hilton Green, founder and CEO of OMG! Nutrition. “Up until now it was difficult to get high-quality, high-absorption, gut-friendly magnesium without swallowing a bunch of pills or guessing how much unappealing powder to scoop out of a jug. Our mission is to change that.”
Among the ingredients OMG! Nutrition uses is The Real Amino Acid Chelate System, a patented form of chelated magnesium from Albion Minerals. The products also contain natural flavors, colors and sweeteners. They also are non-GMO, gluten-free and vegan.
OMG! Nutrition’s products are available in two flavors of ready-to-mix powder — berry blast and tropical punch — as well as a berry blast quick melt formulation that doesn’t require water.
