Perrigo shifts Needham to consumer healthcare unit

ALLEGAN, Mich. Perrigo last week appointed Jeff Needham EVP and general manager of the company’s consumer healthcare business. In his new role, Needham will be responsible for developing and executing Perrigo’s OTC, nutritional, Mexico and United Kingdom business strategies.

He will also continue to guide Perrigo’s international consumer healthcare growth initiative, the company added.

Needham began his Perrigo career 25 years ago as a marketing department manager. Over the years, he has held a variety of leadership positions, one of which included a move to England as managing director of Perrigo’s United Kingdom business. In that role, Needham led Perrigo to become England’s OTC store brand pharmaceutical leader.

Upon his return to the U.S. in 2004, Needham was responsible for consumer healthcare marketing, pharmaceutical business development and international business. Prior to his promotion, Needham was the SVP of consumer healthcare marketing and international business development.

Needham holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising from Michigan State University.
