Rexam Personal Care focuses on hand sanitizing products for next year's flu season

ALKMAAR, Netherlands Rexam Personal Care, makers of mechanical foaming hand sanitizers, on Tuesday announced that the company is recalibrating marketplace needs around foaming hand sanitizer dispensers for the fall/winter 2010/2011 flu season following a dramatic spike in demand linked to the worldwide 2009 novel H1N1 pandemic.

“International concerns of the H1N1 virus caught some in the industry by surprise,” stated Casper Kleiman, product manager – foam, Rexam Personal Care. “Already this year, we hear of customers planning ahead and fine-tuning their production needs well in advance of the 2010-11 flu season.”
