RxBar prescribing latest protein-bar craze through Trader Joe's

CHICAGO - Chicago-startup RxBar last month inked a distribution deal with Trader Joe's, bringing its no-nonsense prescription for marketing a "clean" protein bar to consumers nationwide, according to a recent report from ABC 7.



Founded in March 2013, the company created a line of Paleo-friendly bars that keeps it simple with only eight ingredients or less and as much as 15 grams of protein derived naturally from egg whites and raw almonds.



They're also high in energy and free of grains, added sugars, gluten, soy, dairy or any artificial or processed ingredients.



And the proof is in the packaging - the front facing of each of the bars lists the actual ingredients contained within.
