Chicago — SPINS on Thursday named Brian Gillis to lead its growing retail team to accelerate data-driven products and services for North American retailers.

Gillis brings a long history of helping retailers succeed with customer insight and shopper marketing. Most recently, Gillis led the Americas divisions of dunnhumby and later of Symphony EYC as EVP/GM, but his broad view of the CPG industry also includes experience in category management with Loblaw’s and marketing and sales with General Mills.
